I learned the art of Navajo weaving at a young age, being the granddaughter of the late Navajo Master Artist Grace Henderson Nez and the daughter of Navajo Master Artist Mary Henderson Begay. I take pleasure in infusing contemporary elements into my work while honoring my heritage. Currently, pieces from Gloria Jean Textiles are showcased in several art markets, and I offer commissioned works and community displays.
